Joe Rybicki

Joe Rybicki was born sometime in the late 1980s, in a town somewhere near Manchester. A chance encounter with a banjo and a scratched Meat Loaf LP led to him being forever enchanted with music. His mother brought home discarded library books for him to read, and he did.

In January 2005, Joe entered Calder Recordings with his guitar and a carton of orange juice. He left with a 5 track EP, produced by Steve Fenton. He called this EP “Trademark Sky”.

Today, Joe Rybicki writes and performs his music and poetry up and down the country, and in January supported Pete Doherty’s band Babyshambles at Leeds Cockpit.
