Edward Croft
Edward Croft is a young experimental singer-songwriter/comedian currently based in and around the town of Hebden Bridge. He is a bright performer who forges strong personal connections with his Audience – regardless of wether he’s performing a soft love ballad, a chirpy and spirited song or a short one-man musical play. Edward’s compositions increasingly incorperate Rap, Circus skills and Dance and his works are become more and more innovative as he tries to find his own unique performance style.
He is also the ‘Ed’ element of the ‘Amazing Tom and Ed Brothers’ – the Open Mic Surgery’s very own experimental comic duo, widely renowned for their Pirating antics and Gnu impressions. Tom and Ed do not perform together so frequently as they used to, but their close personal and creative relationship is still instrumental in providing each other with support and input for their solo projects. They are, of course, still available for gigs ;).

i love ‘marie’..... well the song anyway, i can’t get it out of my head and it’s so sweet and beautifully played, people like you make me feel as if love can be found even if your heart is broken and for this i thank you and i’m so sorry your leaving because i would gladly sit and listen to you for hours on end….
